Writing Sabbatical

On Sunday, I board the train,
  bound for places as yet
  unchartered,
  but that call to me
  as a lover to her mate.

For 30 days
  out of this life,
  I have committed
  to write full time.

Until then,
  I stay planted
  in the 'now',
  focused on life
  as it unfolds,
  observing, witnessing,
  breathing...
